NWA! Arnold & Son UTTE

Acquired this beauty earlier this week, the Arnold & Son Ultra thin tourbillon escapement. It was the thinnest tourbillon in the world when it was launched in 2013, and held the crown for a year before Bulgari obliterated the record with the Octo tour...

Lovely

How thick is the watch?

Yeps!

It wears like a dress watch and slips very easily under a shirt cuff. Like a Lange 1815 or VC Traditionnelle.

Thanks much! [nt]

You chose well, and that's one of the great unrecognized gems in the hobby. And good on you for picking something far beyond the Instagram mainstream! Best, Tim

Congratulations

Beautiful watch and extra points for being reasonably thin. Still think Arnold & Son is overlooked, all of their complications feel fresh.

Yes! Their designs are unique indeed! [nt]

Yeah it's not clear cut...

Since they're currently owned by Japanese corporate giant Citizen. But do a quick Google and many watch blogs / websites still place them in the independent category. I can go either way - all I know is that they make excellent watches!
