Incoming : Moser Streamliner Chrono Blue

Aug 29, 2021,09:21 AM

Very happy to share another incoming, an automatic SS sports chronograph from the independent brand Moser. 😊

The Streamliner chronograph was originally launched few years back to widespread praise and accolades, due to its original design and innovative chronograph movement. This latest version features a brilliant blue fume dial that has delightful light play as you can see in the photos. The best part of the watch is actually the bracelet which is silky smooth and wraps around the wrist comfortably.

Like all great bracelets, it features alternate brush/polish finishing and tappered off at the clasp for supreme comfort. This is a strong contender for best ever bracelet in a SS sports watch. And best of all the design of the watch is entirely original and dare I said, organic and fluid and finished to perfection. This is no typical clone/copycat of Genta-esqued RO/Nautilus that we see so often and it stand on its own, in some way even better. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

The movement decoration is a slight let down to be honest and it's more industrial than beautiful but still done to a very high standard for this price category ( will share more pics in future posts ). The pushers for this chronograph, which is a flyback by the way have excellent tactile feel, not too hard and not too soft, done just right. The chronograph measures lap time with a minute/second hand combination that uses the whole dial to easily tell at a glance the elapsed time that is so much more intuitive and easy on the eye than using sub dials. All in, this watch is well deserved of its GPHG 2020 chronograph of the year award. Its shape and looks do takes some getting use to but this is a watch that looks so much better in person than in photos. Gosh I got carried away righting essays πŸ˜πŸ˜‚.

Ok, let me know what you think? For those that wish to order one, better hurry as the waitlist is becoming longer and longer. Have a great weekend! 🍹🍺🍻🍾🍸

P/S : For current owners, I got some questions. Do you know how many winds to fully wind the watch? And can I leave the chrono running so that it acts like a sweeping second hand? Thanks in advance. πŸ™πŸ»

I think that it’s the perfect combination of the bracelet/case/dial design of moser, and the avant-garde chrono from agenhor. Regarding the question: I am eager to hear from actual owners, Bc this movement supposedly has genius solutions for the drop in a...

Thank you!

Regarding the question, I got the answer from Moser directly. The winding is 30 to 40 rounds to fully wind the watch and yes, the chrono sweeping second can be left on, although that increase wear and tear over long term if use indefinitely and also consu...

Huge Congrats and excellent catch .

The bracelet is unbelievable and so comfortable. Excellent watches πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜˜ ...

I am not that keen on the shape of the bracelet and case but anything from H&M C is fantastic.

I prefer the inner aspect of the bracelet and case. The dial and movement are wonderful though. I think they have one of the best customer service I have ever come across.

Thanks!
