I wonder how many brands would allow you to see unobstructed index and both hands when time set to 9h51?

0.1mm? How do they not break during milling/polishing!?!?

Iā€™m ready to dive into MG onceā€™s they revise their lug/case ratio.

Itā€™s crazy thing

I wonder how many broken hands one has to go thru to master the work

Great photo again.

The color is really great too...

...I've only seen photos, but I'm sure the purple is even nicer in real life...it's a nice change from blue.

What a fantastic macro shot

Arggggh you're going to eventually convince more and more people to hop on the Moritz train with these shots

MG deserves more

ā€¦..wholeheartedly agree. Exquisite hand fabrication. Here are some shots of my original Benu in Platinum. The hands on this version were annealed to a brown hue, a deliberate, yet subtle variation to the brown-violet hue of the rose and white gold origina...

ā€¦.congrats on your new Patek šŸ™

ā€¦.enamel? Good question -

 By: Andy_Mac : January 3rd, 2022-19:40
- as far as I can tell, itā€™s described as a cold enamel dial. That may well be a euphemism for a lacquered dial. I donā€™t think itā€™s grand feu enamel though, at least I couldnā€™t find anything to indicate it was in the original launch material. It was picke...

nice article. Thanks šŸ™

 By: Andy_Mac : January 3rd, 2022-21:23
ā€¦not one Iā€™ve come across before šŸ™. It does confirm what I thought about cold enamel being an epoxy resin, although I incorrectly referred to it as lacquered. Some articles I read did say that cold enamel wasnā€™t really enamel at all, hence my term euphemi...

Perhaps an inquiry with MG directly would clarify the execution of the enamel dial?

Hmm, if you got the watch just a few months ago, that was likely the same watch I was also scheming to get (but as the saying goes, "you snooze, you lose" -- congratulations on the great catch)

ā€¦.One of my favourite watches of late.

It gets a fair amount of wrist time. A horological trip to GlashĆ¼tte is definitely on the cards and it would be remiss not to pop into MG with the watch šŸ™

What a beauty!
