Roped up ever since apart from scrambling and easyish (gr 3) ice routes.
For me after that moment it was never worth the risk/reward. I wonder what makes any other freeclimber carry on after that (if they live)?
And the relevance to the Indie forum? Well, buying an independent watch is a bit like freeclimbing. There are some pretty big risks, fortunately only financial and emotional.
