A ring or dial for the seconds.

There is no seconds dial, as the balance makes the watch running quite obvious 🙂

The moonphase is a 4mm ball made of meteorite iron, heat colored and then engraved to look a bit like the actual moon. It's staked onto an axle with a small pinion ( 10 leaf ) that is run by a 59/20 tooth castle wheel mobile. Jumps once a day.

A job well done. So when do you post your round models? I think your watches made in CZ. But which movements and parts do you use? Swiss, german, other?

I post everything as soon as it's finished, but I only make about four or five a year, so it's not that often 🙂

These days I'm mostly using Unitas geartrain and jewels with my own cases, dials, hands, plates, bridges and complication parts.

I’m sure there will be other technical questions so I’ll leave those for now. Instead can you share some of your story? Watchmaking school? Professional background? I’m curious, as I’m sure many are, about how you got to this point. Thanks!
