When something is “earned,” you cherish it more! The AK 06 grew on me and “earned” my affection over time. I initially passed on it, but now I love it!

Thanks for sharing! the AK-06 shares the same movement as the award winning Chronometre Contemporain. The dial however is a bit more niche and less classical but hey, I think it is lovely. Personally though I prefer the stainless steel version. ...  

I understand, my friend. The one I actually had in my hand at first was this steel version, which didn’t appeal to me as much. We all like what WE like, right!

I think I’d take this over the CC too, both would be nice. But this is more interesting for sure. Congrats. There are a few more incoming on the forum from what I know, looking forward to hearing everyone’s views once all are delivered.

The CC never came to fruition. Over time and over a few conversations (many with members here), I began to give it more thought. Eventually, I landed on the gold with titanium. Couldn’t be happier. The fit and wear are phenomenal!

it is the 'only' time only watch in Akrivia line. Also it is a tad quirky bcos it is not a 'open dial' per say ! Best, mahesh.,
