Here is my contribution - a custom timepiece....

from RGM.  Single sunk enamel dial with slightly-varying shades.  I had Roland Murphy build this one around a Marvin Peseux 260 movement which I was lucky enough to obtain with its original Competition timing certificates.

Look forward to seeing others (and hope everyone is staying safe).

I love enamel dials. So let's see some enamel dials 😁

Didn't know where to post my Jaquet Droz as there is no longer a J*D forum and has not been one for a very long time. I think they make between 7,000 - 8,000 watches annually so even though they belong to the Swatch group, I still see them as an Independe...

My favorite was this one...

Sorry for the reminder, but it is a stunner, both front and back. It’s what ALS does so well! Cheers, Tim

Yes, true! [nt]

Thanks for these beautiful JD pictures, they are truly at the top of the game (and have been for a very long time) on this craft! I was fortunate to be given a presentation of some models..

...last summer in Milano, and was very much tempted to order one. They also accept customized orders (to be discussed with the management), an attractive option that I believe is open to anyone. My girlfriend ended up being even more interested than me, s...

Totally agree πŸ‘...in fact, my wife fell in love with the 39mm Grande Second with meteorite dial and diamond accents....

This is the one. I am planning on gifting this to her in an upcoming special wedding anniversary in a few years 😁 ...

Love the number font. Do you have any info about it?

Not something you see every day

Great timepiece. Thanks for the nice photo.

It’s been a theme in my collection for many years

I love enamel dialed watches and have several currently: The 1846MC 150th Anniversary model from 1996: The one and only platinum 38mm original Piccadilly with an enamel dial from 2005: My second L&H with an enamel dial, the Georg in RG case. Previousl...

which, for me, works perfectly. Love the L&H as well. Darren

Yes, we have a purist in the UK with a platinum one too!

His is truly rare, only three ever made. Mine is from a second group, made in addition tot he original 150, by Rolf for β€œhis friends”...

Beautify JD, as are all JDs IMHO. Mine doesn't have an enamel dial so I won't post it in this thread, but just wanted to comment about production numbers...

 By: Emil Wojcik : April 8th, 2020-11:26
I had my JD serviced in fall of 2019, upon picking up the watch the manager at the NYC boutique said JD makes about 3,100 watches a year. She seemed well informed about the brand although I admit that number sounds low to me.

Wow, are the productions number that low now? I spoke to the director of J*D France at their boutique in Paris and thought they produced double that amount...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : April 8th, 2020-11:32
I could be mistaken but I definitely know it is a low number in any case, most definitely less than 8,000 watches a year. I will try and confirm once I get a chance after this COVID-19 situation πŸ‘

Congrats, very very nice

 By: Milan1 : April 8th, 2020-11:31
J*D makes wonderful dial for sure. This black beauty also amazing. I am enough lucky to visit DonzΓ© Cadrans SA, where also very sophisticated in enamel arts. Regards, MilΓ‘n

Many thanks 😁 [nt]

Besides watches, what else does your cat like? Treats? Belly rubs? Scratches behind the ears?

Individual

 By: Weems@8 : April 8th, 2020-12:30
JD looks so individual. Watches for a select group of people who collect it. Swatch group luxury peaces. I said this on an other reply, JD looks as the target market is Asia. If sister Breguet is more that classic watch brand, that find it’s fans in Europ...

The history of J*D is actually very interesting. And yes, J*D was most successful in Asia during the past with it's automation...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : April 8th, 2020-12:57
Even today one can see the influence from it's past success in Asia with it's signature Grande Second piece which showcases the figure 8 (infinity) symbol. I would even go so far as to say that Jaquet Droz, the man, is one of the most innovative people EV...

Believe me there are times when I find this plain watch very boring . Timeless indeed.

Thank you. This 2526 is happy
