Handson with the ORIS BIG CROWN PROPILOT X CALIBRE 115

I guess everybody noticed the newest Oris release already, it was all over the watch blogs recently. We gladly accepted the kind invitation of Tensen Antwerp to come, test and view as the first in the Benelux the Oris Propilot Skeleton Titanium.

I'm not going to give you all watch details again but can only say this watch meets it's expectations for the full 100%. It is perfectly executed, no re-issue, no copycat but just a great light comfortable and perfectly engineered watch with a whopping 10 day power reserve and a fully in house developed caliber. The Oris patented non linear power reserve indicator on the dial is perfectly integrated and nicely presented. I was a bit afraid of its size at first but it definitely wears more like a 42mm then a 44mm because of the neatly integrated bracelet. We didn't have the opportunity to see the rubber bracelet version. The bracelet is very light, comfortable and fits as a glove around the wrist.

It was really fun to use the Virtually Reality Viewer that allows you to experience the movement from the inside. Really cool. The movement is a joy to the eye and in this price category very well executed.

My only little remark is the engraving "LIFT" on the folding buckle like Oris underestimates us not knowing how to open a folding clasp. That was not necessary IMHO. But it does not spoil the whole experience.

I was very positively surprised by this watch and congratulations to the Oris team. I'm confident this will be a successful new watch and can't wait to put it on my wrist soon again.

too large and it lacks subtility... The price is fair but far beyond what I will pay for an Oris. Thanks for the post! Fx

The movement is my favourite part, I like the back view.

For me, the watch is not bad, but too bulky and pricey. Thanks for the live pics. Vte
