In the 1970’s and 80s the CWC chronograph was a firm favourite with RAF pilots. This particular watch was issued to a Sea Harrier Pilot on active service in the Fauklands war. ...

I meet a Parachute Regiment veteran who had the same watch on. Told me that he had it in 1979 and it was still going strong.

It was specific to RAF/ RN Pilots as it had much reduced lume, so as not to be bright in the cockpit especially at night.
