Jeweluxe Singapore - Talking Time

 By: rolandc : October 19th, 2019-03:41
Was there earlier to hear the independent watchmakers share their journey in watchmaking. There was a Q&A session after that. From L to R: Konstantin Chaykin (Russia) , Robert Bray (Sinclair Harding - UK), Peter Chong (Deployant - Singapore), Aaron Becsei...

Sounds like a real treat Roland

The butterfly wing dial with blue luminescence is stunning. They will set off tomorrow for a dive trip before returning to Singapore and fly back home. If there is time, will probably get dinner together. Will be meeting up with Masahiro-san and his wife ...

Hope it is nothing serious

Sorry they won’t be coming to Australia 😥 HAGWE

The exhibition was to showcase independent watchmakers, but that talking point session was focused on the experience of the non-Swiss watchmakers in their watchmaking journey.

For example, Hungary is not known for watchmaking, and Aaron shared his experience growing up and learning from his father to fix vintage clocks. There were independent Swiss Watchmakers during the exhibition.

Would have loved to be there. [nt]
