It depends on what you like...

Years ago, I also faced a very similar decision. I found the Big Bang Unico King Gold more beautiful. The warm tone of the King Gold is just incredible. I decided to go for the Big Bang Unico in Magic Gold because I think the scratch-resistant gold is a technological sensation. After a good three years on my wrist, the watch has no scratches/chips at all.

I saw some Magic Gold watches with chips. These were hit hard against a wall or a door. If you do that with King Gold then that is certainly damaged. And even a ceramic bezel would burst at such strong loads. I almost always wear my Magic Gold watches, including in sports and gardening. But I did not experience chips, etc.

Cheers,

Sascha

Thanks for sharing your experience. There are pros and cons on both sides which I’ve been going back and forth on. Is that your collection? If so do you find yourself more drawn to the magic gold due to the durability on a day to day basis compared to you...

Well...

...i like both materials the same. The King Gold looks wonderful, but gets a bit more scratchy than the Magic Gold, which is scratch resistant. Magic Gold does not fascinate me because of its appearance, it is a technological sensation (similar to the red...
