Different styles, case metals, strap materials, and movement aesthetics...they compliment each other well!

It works for all seasons and almost all situations. A two watch collection is not a bad idea, if you can be content with it. You could perhaps consider adding a Seiko diver for the beach and vacations. Otherwise perfect!

“a Seiko for the beach” is also exactly my approach for summer.

So now I wonder if you can spot WIS fellows on the beach just by looking out for (manual) Seikos

Haha, yes my friend. That’s how you spot them ;-) :-) [nt]

I was was thinking it was too good. But t depends on how hard you play, of course. A dip in the pool and In warm humid climate is fine. I bought a Rolex Millgauss Z dial as a holiday watch two year ago. I only wear on vacation and playing with my kids. It...

I will definitely struggle with a 2 watch collection... too much memories tied to too many watches 🤣

As the others have said, your choice of 2 are as good as it gets. Stay well!

Great choices, but as a dress watch a three-hander is too simple for me, happy to have a different one with a complication.

Maybe I'd add an inexpensive beater. Vte

I mean, if you had to do it then I suppose this is as good a direction to go as any.

For me, I think I would need one of the two to be a little more complicated perhaps. For no real reason other than having something less simple to look at.

Perhaps a Resonance or CO would do [nt]

Both fantastic pieces from two of the best brands. Good for you for downsizing. I wish I had that discipline or even a fraction of that for that matter.

I definitely could live with those two! [nt]

It’s a classy pair. You’d have most all your bases covered.

I’d be tempted to add a third. Maybe a reverso central seconds for a change up

Very difficult task to achieve a row watch collection.... As Nicolas said maybe a ten watch would be ideal... But it is difficult to part with some... Cheers

there have been stories of organized hoodlums On mortorcycles wearing masks taking high end watches of wrists In seconds ...... I love these two pieces , but also know they could be traded in for a 911......... ergo , a really good quality Low cost piece ...
