Window shopping with a bit from AP and Zenith
Feb 23, 2019,02:49 AM

The code 1159. Liked the concept and it’s a welcome change from the brands Heavy dependency on the RO. I loved the deep rich lacquer and the design of the lugs and hex case but it’s big, too big and not for me.

The Defy El primero Chrono with 100th of a second. Really cool Chrono and movement but far to big at 44mm and the crown looked a little out of place

The Defy Classic has been on my radar for a while. I may yet bite if I can get the price to where I think it needs to be but I’m worried that the Skeleton dial may get old quickly.

If Ap issues more variations of Royal Oak we complain that it’s too dependent on RO series and running out of ideas . If they decide to do something new we immediately start comparing with the RO. RO is irreplaceable and it’s cult classic and will always ...

Trying to reinvent the wheel they can leave that to Richard Mille. All they had to do was take inspiration from one of their many classic heritage complicated lines as a platform for those new calibers. It certainly worked with scanning the 5402 as 15202,...

it’s clear the watch collecting community have not taken to it, that said there are many people who will purchase as their first AP buying because of the brand name and swooned by the massive sales drive implemented by the boutiques themselves. I don’t th...

From handling it during SIHH... I can say it is as disappointing as everyone say. The worst are the time only... dreadful... the best of the worst bunch is the QP. I think if it was just released softly as a new line then it would have been accepted... bu...
