I'm hoping that the latest generation of Omega movements will make it's way into the Railmaster next year. The other new design that is in current production (but which I haven't seen in the metal yet) is the Eterna Madison Spherodrive . . .

. . . which appeals on every level. I'd give the edge to the Railmaster, but if a cal 8500 version doesn't appear next year, then the Eterna moves to the top of the list.
There is a 'vintage' Glashütte Original that I'd love to own, one of the limited edition 1845 Karrees from 2003/2004 in either steel . . .

. . . or gold . . .

. . . and mainly because of this:

Regarding Seiko: count me as a huge fan as they offer outstanding quality and value. There are currently two vintage Seikos in the watch box . . .

. . . but I fear both of them will depart soon to my twin nephews, so I might just get a Grand Seiko to compensate ;-). Cordially, Art
