What do you think of these chronographs? Thinking of adding one to my small collection

Hey guys I am still a very happy man after my last watch which is a personal grail.

My watch target for 2019 is very likely to be a chronograph as I am still lacking a nice chrono in my small collection. I have been looking at some chronos lately especially Tudor. I didn’t pay much attention to the Heritage Chrono previously as I wasn’t interested in Tudor before their in-house stuffs. But recently I have grown out of the “in-house movement” phase and decided to go to my local Tudor boutique to have a look at their selection. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice their Heritage Chronos are. If money is not an issue, I would have opt for the vintage Monte Carlo as I prefer 40mm over 42mm. But even the 42mm is still manageable for my small wrist.

Under consideration is also the new Hamilton Panda Chrono which is 40mm and the new Farer Chrono Cobb.

Which one will you go for?

Old and new still look great. If you can’t get the original next best is perfect. ...

To be honest, even though the new version is nice but the old one looks even nicer!

What a beautiful sample you have!

In your first post i could read, " ........as i was not interested in Tudor before their in-house movements".

So I am surprised now, that you prefer a ETA with modul Dubois Depras. Someone is looking more the design, others the movement. Everybody feel free and buy what he wants.

Hi Walter, think you misinterpret my post?

Actually what I meant is that I was not interested in Tudor previously as they are not sporting in-house movements. Previously I was more an “in-house” movement fan. But I subsequently grew out of this phase and now don’t mind non in-house movements in my...

lack a bit of the brand cache that Tudor enjoys at the moment (IMO). Can't go wrong with any of them, I figure. I had the grey dial Heritage Chrono for some time, was a great weekend watch, but ended up parting with it as the height/shape of the case just...
