A book about a journey into watch collecting
A personal passage and yet a resonating journey with all of us WIS
I was fortunate enough to have read this book and felt a rather deep connection with the author
Whom I’m proud to call a friend
I’ve met Mitch almost 10 years ago and felt a strong connection instantly
When I was presented with the copy of his book or rather journey I read it in one sitting as o couldn’t stop myself and had to finish it
I also read it with a subconscious voice of Mitch narrating it
It touched me on so many levels that I connected with.
At some parts I felt I was actually there at the location or even included in the interaction with the author and the watchmaker
I reached out to Mitch to express how deeply his book resonated with me and how well it represented the ethos of the watch enthusiast spirit and above all the evolution and growth in the journey that is watch collecting
Mitch may don’t realize but he has impacted my own watch collecting journey specially with independents and for that I am ever so grateful
And when he came out with his new book WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for every member to read and enjoy as I did
It will take you through a journey that is truly unique and equally exciting
A journey that spans decades of knowledge and experience
A journey that is full of wonderful stories and friendships and above all a journey that starts and ends with family
I felt obligated to post to my fellow purists as I think it’s truly a worthy book to have and read
Specially that it is written by one of our own community/forum member and not only that but a wonderful and very generous person and a beautiful soul and true gentleman
