Watches as Toys - can you remember any?
Aug 08, 2022,15:01 PM
Let’s face it. Many men/women never grow up. Under the guise of adulthood, is the disguise of childhood.
Some men wear colourful socks, under their drab coloured attires to work. Others, keep secret collections of collectible toys, be it action-heroes, model planes etc. Master of the Universe anyone?
Others simply lile to have the newest gadgets, be it drones, computers, audio equipment etc. Who knows if these traits are vestigial parts of their child-like mind, begging to be released.
I was talking to an ex-Olympian who did a few medals for gymnastics back in the 80’s. He is a 76 year old paraplegic now. His dream? Well his dream is a reclining bicycle powered by arms. He asked his son for one.
So let’s translate toys to horology. What are the examples of horology that you recall, which can double up as a toy?
Here are a few that come to mind (I’m sure there are many more, but I cannot seem to recall or find them):
Jackpot anyone?
