Watches & Wonders

Apr 08, 2021,07:50 AM

I have visited websites up and down, and this forum as well for the novelties. Maybe i have not seen all of them.
Appart from the insanely cool Reverso (the highly complicated one) and the Vacheron Rattrapante, nothing else really has stuck with me...! It was a boring W&W in my opinion.
May i ask you dear friends, what did you particularly like this year?

- 5711? (i know there is more to come on the 12th according to some members of this forum)
- Rolex (Explorer 36mm)?
- Tudor 58 in steel ?
- Vacheron Overseas openworked?

Thank you for your input!

I like the new ALS Perpetual, but then again for 1/3 of the price it's a gigantic FU to owners of the original reference. I adore the Vacheron 1921 Americain in 36.5mm - as mentioned before due to case shape the 40mm version wears way too large on the wri...

Thanks feedback as well

Your comment about the 5 minutes reminds me of the old adage "You sip the wine three times before making your first comment or facial expression"

By: Jay (Eire) : April 8th, 2021-10:43’s what caught my eye: - Tudor 58 Silver - Tudor Chrono, as this price and how it looks it surely will be a big seller. - Breitling Premier Heritage Chrono, seems like a decent package and that pistachio dial or whatever it is will be polarizing b...

There are a few stand-outs that merit discussion.

A.Lange & Sohne - Perpetual Lange 1 : Clean layout leveraging the beauty of an iconic design. A solidly built automatic caliber that is based on the Daymatic. Peripheral indiction for the month, coupled with the trademark outsized date and the retrogr...

As a brand, Patek. I like how cohesive their releases are..

A “regular” 5711 as a farewell to that model. And then the diamond bezel one on a stainless steel case which just works in terms of tone and also in terms of contradiction if you will. Then that blue dial on the 5990 in rg. Ok, not a big fan of these watc...
