It was indeed one of my concerns originally. Meanwhile I’m fine with it: no scratch, no dent and a low weight that makes it a good weekend watch, especially on nylon/NATO strap.
I understand that Ceramic will not dent but could potentially crack or chip - however I have rarely seen such cases in real life. Have you seen cracked cases yourself?

You would be correct in that there aren’t many such reports on this forum.
But there are a few YouTube videos of IWC ceramic cases cracking. Judging by the deep lug dings/bends on my Batman, nothing is beyond the reach of my ‘wrecking crew’. That GSTOM is pure horological class, though. Dial. Case. Movement. 👌🏿
