You did well, and even better to reposition the bezel and replace the correct crystal without damage. I have an internal bezel dive watch (a Zodiac Sea Wolf SST) and my watchmaker advised me to live with a small chip in the crystal on the otherwise excellent condition watch since a perfect fit is required. Wear it well.

there are actually a huge number of 36mm SC’s, but they are often from brands no one has ever heard of using so not overly collectable. this is one of the few good brands to use the smaller case. best Graham

A lovely watch the Benrus, I've actually handled one - although many years ago - and it is a quality watch. Given the military pedigree of Benrus it is a great addition to your theme.
