NOMOS - share yours!

Any love for NOMOS here? Here's a couple I've been enjoying over the past few years. The Club ref. 701 in the last pic is their most affordable model, but also the one I love the most - it's like a modern Bubbleback with an added those of quirkiness. Hand...

Love Nomos. I don't have one yet, but I will most probably go for...

The Club: Your Omega is not bad looking at all! Best, Nicolas ...

What more could one ask for than the Club 701?

It is one of my favourite watches for sure. Affordable, relevant, and cool. 36mm of hand-wound delight. As said it reminds me of watches like the Bubbleback. But also the beef-lug Seamaster of the 1950's - watches that pair elegant dials with robust cases...

btw, the 30T2 is a joy for sure, but for daily wear...

Hey Dale, you know this one :)

No love for

I can not love Nomos. I like the barok Swiss watches. History, Jugendstil, art deco, belle epoque. Down to earth is not my way of looking at watches. Breath history, a watchmakers story, that are my things. Value for money is out of the question. I like t...

Baroque these are not, that's for sure...

 By: dalevito : July 5th, 2020-13:29
but your views are interesting to say the least. Best of health.

Thank you

Nomos is quality. Baroque have that elite intellectual behavior. More for history lovers. Bringing new innovations into heritage is for me so beautiful into watches. Cold design is for me a no go. Warm design is a watch where the stainless steel case have...

My Tetra..

 By: Filip : July 5th, 2020-13:36
I had a few, and still love the simple ones like my Tetra. The basic hand wound versions equipped with Alpha caliber are the bargain imo. cheers Filip ...

very cool...

These Club watches are very good looking! I have the Tangomat "100 years of Bauhaus". Regards, Gerard ...

though I personally prefer to see them on a nice strap.

Here's mine

Hi Here's my Tangente I hadn't realised - but I've had it 16 years! Was looking through some papers & found the original invoice. Bit of a surprise that! Cheers JML ...

Really like the brand and there designs.

I don’t own one (yet) but my Boss does 😉. She wears it a lot at work . Very solid and robust watch . Also its got a personal engraving on the case back Really like this Club watch with that great Cali dial . ...

I currently own three. Best every day business watches for me. I‘ve also found this brand to be popular with women, compared to other mechanical watch brands.

I can only show one atm, my Zuerich. Don‘t have pictures of the others (an Orion and a Tangente Update). ...

that's a beauty...

 By: dalevito : July 6th, 2020-05:35
which you don't see too often! When it comes to the Zuerich, the Weltzeit takes all the shine, but these are equally wonderful.

As I've never been a fan of world timers, I didn't even knew those were more popular :-)

Here's a fresh shot of my favorite Nomos. The Orion Limited Edition for timeless. The original Solar is too small for me at 35mm, so this one is perfect. (It's on a custom strap, as I didn't like it on its original black one) ...

I've gone for quite a few Nomoi over the years...

just a couple of meters apart from each other.

Loved the dial, didn't love the case

 By: blau : July 6th, 2020-09:24
Really handsomely done dial. I loved the depth with the city ring, and I love the shade and texture of blue they used. I'm generally not a fan of blue dials: this is the only one I've ever been willing to own! But the Zurich case wore a little big--the di...

interesting...

I always found the Zuerich case a work of art. Take the lugs; they're loose parts screwed to the case from the inside, and their shape is quite refined. Great pic by the way, the watch takes this strap very well, tres nonchalant.

Love Nomos!

I enjoy the Weltzeit very much. ...

I just found some pictures of my old Tangente movement..

. . . in any case (pun intended!), an uncommon and desirable 30T2 jumbo, ~ 37 mm. Me like ;-) . . .

I must admit I'm not entirely sure...
