I went through a similar process a few months ago and chose a 38 mm VC Patrimony Tradionnelle in WG.

It is also available in RG, as is the new Patrimony without date and the small seconds at 6:00.

If you haven't had a chance to try on the candidates, you owe it to yourself to compare all three on the wrist and also to compare the 38 and 40 mm Patrimony models. To my surprise, the 40 mm with a silver dial looked too big for a dress watch, which of course relates to personal factors such as wrist size and taste. Moreover, the positioning of the lugs varies between brands such that a particular size may fit well in one brand but not in another, which is another reason to try them on.

To my taste, the VC has a more simple, elegant dial, while the Lange looks retro.

You can't go wrong with any of those you're considering.

I'd suggest adding to the list: Chopard XP, either the older model with 2 hands, or the newer with a subsecond dial. New JLC Ultra-thin (there's a larger manual wind and an auto) If you're sticking to the original three...to me the design of the Lange is ...

The styles are quite different, so I would suggest spending some time with each so you know what features you like best. Of that trio, I prefer the GO. The elegance and simplicity of the dial are truly special. It's also likely to be made in small numbers...
