Up the stairs and left - watch gallery at the science museum

Hi All Had a day wandering round London yesterday - thought I'd take a look at the watch gallery in the science museum, after see a blog about it. Plenty to see and it adds to what's in the British museum & the Royal Observatory - so plenty of watch/clock related stuff to distract you smile. Some photos!

Pocket watch made by Derek Platter - an English watchmaker based in Switzerland , looking at dates seems a contemporary with George Daniels. There are also a couple of Daniels watches on display as well, but my photos didn't do them justice.

Last couple are of a clock made by John Harrison almost entirely out of wood.

Cheers JML
