Universal Genève Tri Compax. Some pictures.

Another vintage Chronograph I could carry an autopsy on, with a few pictures.

Nice case, superb dial, great movement.

These Chrono Calendars are a classic in a collection.

Snap back case, showing the ref number ( 22 279 ) and the serial number dating it circa 1945.

The case is circa 36 / 37 mm big. A great size.

Without forgetting the movement....

Stay tuned, I saw another one which is even nicer!

Best,

Nicolas

changes/development in the collectors market. The last two years in germany (and i think also generelly in europe) these watches are much more searched from collectors as in the years before. There is a collector szene, that is perhabs (in my opinion) a l...

Totally agree. Funny what you write about Heuer. I noticed the same thing.

U.G is, indeed, very sought after, lastly. And I must say that there are some very cool models. I would not build a colletion of UGs, but I can foresee three or four with me... ;) Best, Nicolas

Eberhard

also agree on this observaton, another brand where I think you can see this even more strongly is Eberhard - a while back really a 'pure' Italian brand (collector scene), now more and more showing up (see auctions) with higher profile in general.

Eberhard is top, too. Their Rattrapante is a grail!

While some other pièces are top cool, such as the Scientigraph, for example. A kind of Railmaster. Best, Nicolas

and the Scafograf of course

 By: RDL : December 4th, 2014-06:38
especially the Scafograf 100 and 200. But you are right, the Scientifigraf is very cool. Great dial and Rattrapantes at the recent auctions were stunning...but then they also made a 'stunning' hammer

Yes, Scafograph, too! [nt]

... justice to the beauty of this fine timepiece. This brand is very well regarded here in my Country. It is said among local collectors, that Presidente Juan Peron (married to Evita) owned one Tri Compax which he treasured so much, before the Revolution ...

Is there only one nice watch in the world you don't own, Amigo Dexter?
