Two dials, like this one

Feb 21, 2021,15:57 PM

This Ikepod allows you to set each dial separately, both minutes and hours. This is the best one I have, of about a dozen GMT/2-zone watches.

I like my Reverso next best. This might even present too much information -- day/night, offset from Greenwich, power reserve

big date, seconds, day/night (again) -- but you do have to flip it to see the second time

And here's the extreme take on two dials, powered by two movements.

A. Extra hand pointing to second time zone hour B separate dial with second time zone C just a number window for hour of second time time D world timer E don't need any of it I have been through all of them many times(unfortunately) I am leaning towards a...

for the 2nd time zone. This to me is intuitively easier to read at a glance. The world time layout is more for a “geographical” use, I.e. useful to at a glance the time of different cities/zones relative to local time. This is just my personal take.... /W...

I tried a reverso , but found the second time zone section too small to read.

time zones, the 5164. I find the dial uncluttered and very pleasing to the eye. A simple mechanism to set home time and et voila... The skeletonise hour hand can be hidden under the other hour hand and you’ll have a simple time and date watch. ...

My first travel watch is an A. I want also a world timer. I like the city names on a dial. D.

A. I used to travel with a 16710 until I got the 5164.

For me, the 5164 is the ultimate travel watch. Not only for its easy and intuitive time adjustments (including day/night designations for Home and Away), which don’t require me to remove the watch and fiddle with the crown. It’s also comfortable to wear e...

While I don’t own one, a separate legible sub-dial for home time would be my preference.

In practice it’s a GMT I’ve used when needed. Although for me a “travel watch” is something else, usually defined by versatility. Can I wear it with a suit/business casual and shorts and t-shirt.

Back when I did travel a fair amount I realized that when I looked at my watch I usually wanted to know what time it was where I was at that moment. Extra hands can be confusing. Traveling

with more than one watch has risks. This one never has to be removed. Even if you want to jump in the water (100m with screw in crown). Sporty yet elegant. Legible. Home time instanly obvious when that's what you're after. Once COVID subsides I'll only ne...
