Horological Meandering

The new Baltic Worldtimers

Baltic releases three fairly affordable Worldtimers, each one featuring a stone dial.

To begin with, here's the Tiger Eye variant.

Each variant can be purchased either with a beads of rice bracelet or with a leather strap.

The 24-hour disc, which can be set via the crown, can either be synchronised with the hour hand (and become a day night indicator) or be used as a second time zone indicator. It makes one full turn per day.

Below:

  • On the Tiger Eye model (left): the disc indicates a second time zone (midnight) independent from the 10:10 of the hands.
  • On the Labradorite model (right): the disc is synchronised with the hands and indicates that it is 13:55 and not 1:55.

The 120 clicks unidirectional brushed ceramic bezel can be adjusted independently to indicate the main 24 time zones around the world.
