After handling both the Omega and Longines, it's pretty clear why there's such a price difference between the two. I don't mind the busier dial on the Omega but those hands kept bothering me because they're practically identical, not just in appearance, but also in length. Otherwise, such a beautiful watch. As for the Longines, I also don't like "eaten" numerals either but I really like the overall simplicity of the dial and I think it looks great on that BOR bracelet (and it doubly looks great on I'm sure a variety of straps). So I opted for the Hodinkee version. The COSC certification on a much more cost efficient movement is more than good enough for me and since they deleted the arabica all together, the seconds sub-dial "intrusion" doesn't make any difference regarding aesthetics. Plus the bracelet is part of the package on this one. Hope this counts towards the Longines
