Celebrating its Silver Jubilee, Parmigiani Fleurier has combined its multiple talents (from design to restoration) to create The Rose Carrée, a 64 mm white gold double hunter pocket-watch.  It features an original Louis-Elisee Piguet Grand Sonnerie and Minute Repeater movement that was made sometime during the late 1800s to early 1900s.  The original 120 year old movement has been restored by the Parmigiani Fluerier team, a crack team that is also contracted to repair and maintain many timepieces at the Patek Philippe Museum.

The special engraving motif on the case shows square roses in golden ratio size increasing formats, and is covered in blue Grand Feu enamel.  The dial is made of black Onyx.  The chain even continues this square rose motif in a beautiful and yet charming modern way.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see nor handle this timepiece (it's COVID times), but it is an amazing piece nonetheless!  Hopefully I get to see the La Rose soon.  Please join me in congratulating Parmigiani Fluerier in their Silver Jubilee (also known as) 25th Anniversary!  Thank you for reading!

Everything about it... wow. What a way to celebrate 25 years of the brand and the 70th of M. Parmigiani.

Yes! Indeed!

And it's so cool that the movement is actually a hundred years old!
