That's right, "replica" in common watch speak is of course associated with fake, but I think also "homage" usually refers to third parties (and the line between the two terms is often blurred)...

I was amazed by the attention of details
they had putted into the watch so I have used the word,,, I would also put stuff like the omega trilogy into that category, hope people understand my meaning 🍺
Indeed, Breitling did a fantastic job with this re-edition (which is the term Breitling itself uses to describe this piece).

My favorite Navitimer!
I was able to pick one up at my local boutique last fall. And the official name is Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition.
That’s a watch worth buying! Finally they did something really top notch!
