Quartz with a movement that is similar to the astronomical display Campanola. There are two versions for the Northern and Southern hemispheres respectively. Ronald's model is the 2006 version with the integrated bracelet, the 2007 model has a different case (shown above), although the movement and display remains the same.
Congrats Ronald! I ordered one of my own last month via friend in Japan thought it has yet to arrive.

i love the detail on the dial, just my kind of thing, unfortunately it seems it is
only any good for 'true' accuracy if you live in Japan on the 35th degree. i'd love to have it on my wrist, but in UK all the calculations would be incorrect. or would they?? if anyone can clarify i'd appreciate it. cheers Graham
