It looks like the examples provided in this thread are just as varied as in my Google search! But it's good to hear from those I trust for honest opinions, so again, thanks to everyone!
It's reassuring that everyone seems satisfied with what they use, regardless of maker, model or type. I'll look into each of the models posted and make a choice.

I bought a Witschi
because its what the watchmaker had a the Patek Philippe boutique. I asked him what to buy and he told me that one. But it is quite pricy.
Reading this thread makes me feel deficient for not having a demagnetizer.
What should make me look into getting one? Are there any certain watches that require demagnetization? How often should one demagnetize?

And based on a very simple principle too. So just get the cheapest!
