my black U1 hasnt left my wrist since i rec'd it. the watch definitely grows on me and it has a different feel to the original u1. I agree wholeheartedly - great tool watch and best value for the bang tool!
I am also disappointed that the strap cannot accommodate a wet-suit - unlike the original u1 buckle

The U2 Black will be released next year at BASEL2008 as the first standard all black version. U1 Black standard will arrive much later according to L Schmidt. Cheers Harry
