TGIF - what’s the watch you’re wearing today?

Sep 20, 2018,21:57 PM

Another extremely hectic week about to come to an end for me. So I decided on something vintage and serene. With some Gerald Genta thrown in - i.e. the Universal Geneve White Shadow Ultra Slim. What are you wearing today?

Have a great weekend!

But I didn't wear it for almost 6 months, so, it was time! And it is such a pleasure! Best, Nicolas ...

You should wear it more often

Not the Polerouter series. It does have the 2-66 Microtor movement, though - which has subsequently been used by some other brands like Chopard

This... for this rainy Friday

. . . all sortsa stuff goin' on, including a fresh pair . . . . . . of Continental DWS tires for my Honda Civic. Good road handling manners, impressive longevity; the pair that was replaced had 65000 miles on 'em and still had plenty of tread life left. C...

Still have to find a Geiger counter . . .

. . . to validate the dial, Nicolas . . . this one has me stumped. Can't find another quite like it . . .

Throw a g-t-g next year . . .

 By: Dr No : September 21st, 2018-15:42
. . . and we'll have a betting contest on it!

Oh, I've no idea if it's an original dial or not . . .

 By: Dr No : September 21st, 2018-16:17
. . . but if you've got a Geiger counter, I'll bring the watch to Paris where everyone can examine it before testing. And we'll take bets, just like . . . . . . Cool Hand Luke. Who knows? Maybe we'll make enough to pay for a round of tequila shots!

There is only one . . .

Great choices, both, Art :)

Great watch you have there!

For me it was a Zenith.

 By: rdenney : September 21st, 2018-19:15
I lost a bunch of weight this year and needed to adjust bracelets, so didn’t wear this for some months. I found I missed it. It’s conservative, but with a lot of presence with its glossy black dial. HAGWE, —Rick ...

Lovely ElPrimero, Rick!

Haven’t seen this for a while

Superb one, Rick! [nt]
