There is a wide spread in your pre-selection
Mar 03, 2016,23:37 PM
Hi Keks,
The obvious idea of ceramic is understandable, yet you should be aware of a risk that has already been mentioned.
Your pre-selection is wide spread and if you could make a decision for or against chronograph, you might have an much easier decision to make.
/AP Diver - because of its bold look and the inner bezel
/PAM317 - because of the complications
Or something not on your list:
/IWC Ingenieur IW3225 - because of its appealing contrast between glossy and satin ceramic surfaces.
Have fun with the process of manifesting a decision.
Kind regards

As dreams of summer are approaching the thought of finding a good summer beater comes up. The requirements are the following: the timepiece has to be tough, scratch proof, black, and water proof enough to free dive (20m or so). Ideally it is also reasonab...

Yes steel is absolutely the ideal for most reasons but I am intrigued and compelled by ceramic. I like the deep black and yes if it gets a real smack it cracks. However I would plan to wear it as carefully as my other pieces and have never had a serious s...

Diver and 317 are both amazing. Diver for its bold looks and comfortable fit and the 317 for useful complications. These two along with the Bathyscaphe are probably the top 3 contenders at this point but still have some digging to do and hope to find the ...
Interesting list...

I think the Tudor provides the best value at a price point a fraction of the others, but I assume that is a minor factor. I really like the JLC personally in terms of function and looks.
The Tudor is clearly most compelling value wise

I also like the rubber strap look on it with the new black/white dial. The red details were a bit much for me but the new iteration is a very discreet piece and good looking piece. The price point also is a consideration for an active beater with a chrono...
