Sometimes I think we're in a golden age and don't realize it...
A smattering of things I've come across today. I know we talk about ever-escalating prices, things becoming unobtanium or increasingly hard to find, etc etc, but then I start digging and find surprises.
And no, I don't own any of them or have any affiliation. This came out of watching some videos on vintage purchase opportunities that led to some rabbit holes on entry/mid old and new manufacturers, et voila! Some have gone full manufacture!

There are so many watches off the beaten paths which are worth a serious consideration.
Remember the first Tudor BB at a bit more 2K Euros? Montblanc released the Orbis Terrarum WT for what? 3 K euros? I remember when I got my Mido Ocean Star, nobody wanted it for 2 K euros... Now some would pay 5 times ore to get a nice one. There are still...
Budgetary constraints have led me to cheaper alternatives that offer as much enjoyment as their more expensive counterparts
Frederique Constant is a prime example. They are making some incredible watches, many of which are properly waterproof too. My understanding is that many of their newest movements are very much in house too.
