Someone to polish a daniel roth in the US?

I am considering having mine lightly polished...

a) Is this a really bad idea? Is it easy for this case to lose shape? It seems like it might be?

b) Who would be the best man for the job? I emailed DR too and am waiting to hear back from them. But I am not sure about the quality of their work.

Alternatively, any good watch repairer worth his or her salt can do the job. It's not rocket science and, if the watch is worn again, it'll be scratched again, anyway. ;-)
