How badly AP got flamed for knocking off cheap brands in their design. It appears things have just come full circle. ...
They improved the design by eliminating the date at 4 :-)
More seriously, I like the Code, especially the 2-tone smoked dial variant, perhaps even the most of anything in its price point. I like that AP pushed the envelope with the design and had the pleasure of handling one at the local AP boutique. I’m serious...
Haha...yes...and I am a big "No No" fan of the 4:30 date cut-off design...
Like yourself, I also did consider the Code once if not for the date window...there are always multiple camps and some do like the Code, especially the top range complications.
