But this piece is simply gorgeous ! I especially like the curved, sweeping lines of the lugs. Classic!

What's the history of excelsior Park? I recall reading bout them previously when I was playing with vintage chronographs, but not in enough detail

From my hazy memory: I think they were incorporated in the 1920's with financing help from the Gallet family of Gallet watches. EP manufactured their own movements. Like Padj said, they supplied Gallet. I believe EP movements were used by Girard Perregaux...
