Hello Ed all great choices

Hello Ed all great choices, I own a 2017 Maxi-Chrono and just ordered the new FP Journe Resonance in platium, I feel really good about both watches. I can’t talk to the mono pusher except it’s pretty big at 44 mm and Since I own the ALS double split I’m not impressed with a split second watch function of only 60 seconds.

Just so you are aware, on a price perspective if you buy the new De Bethune Maxi-Chrono there will probably be a huge variance in the value of the watch not too far down the road, I Purchased my 2017 that had just been serviced for 60% off of retail, I do not feel that way about the FP Journe, in my opinion it should hold it’s value relatively well...Jim

New Resonance for me.

The Maxi Chrono is a great piece but I fear it could be a delicate piece. I'm not a fan of the third one while the new Resonance looks amazing. I haven't seen it in the metal however. Fx

but all are amazing creations..

Given the resonance already in your collection

My choice would be the Pt Rattrapante without rubber - which I feel represents an incredible value-for-money in the watch world. Right alongside the Lange doublesplit, except the Journe wears like a dream! The new resonance is a worthy successor, but is i...

an amazing watch. I love the new resonance, but hate the 24hr dial

I love Journe's watches. He's one of the greatest watchmakers of our century. His re-interpretation of "old" mechanisms is a bond with the past. Though I love also Flageollet. Brushed titanium, innovation mixed with a sort of retro-futuristic style. De Be...

I think the best strategy would be to pick up the De Bethune on the way to the Journe Boutique to buy the Resonance and Monopoussoir.

I know that wasn't helpful, but I don't think you should automatically rule out getting all three

Because buying another FP Journe is so ‘2019’.😂😂😂 J/k: DeBethune are doing great things, and that maxi chrono is a stunner. Nothing against the monopusher or new resonance. Just my $0.02

Two really nice watches and one masterpiece!

Ed, my friend- the new Resonance is something extraordinary!

I love the Monopoussoir in platinum. DeBethune is great.

The new Resonance is, hands down, the incredible choice. The perfection of a truly amazing watch. As you know, Mr. Journe is the reason we have the term resonance to describe the effect used in dual escapement clocks by Breguet and Janvier. Nothing is tru...

The maxichrono would be my choice.

I like the way it looks, mechanically it is very interesting. The new resonance is cool but lacks the purity of the original in my opinion. I like the look of the rattrapante. But I had a chance to play with it and it is kind of embarrassingly unrefined m...

I love the Maxi Chrono, but . . . .

 By: M4 : April 28th, 2020-16:25
. . . . I would want to try it first as it is a large diameter watch with long lugs. Will it hang over the wrist? The mono-pusher FPJ is phenomenal but, also, is large. But with integral bracelet probably wears smaller than the Maxi Chrono. So, I would ch...

I had the great fortune to try on a fellow Purist's Maxi on today

Its VERY convincing, and with the short lugs, it's a very small 45mm. Best of luck with whatever you choose. ...

Thanks dude🤙 [nt]

As you've already got an older resonance, I'd go for the monopoussoir.

I've got a RG monopoussoir, so my personal choice would be the new Resonance. If someone would have none of those, the choice would be really hard and I'd say it depends on what's a better addition to the collection. The dial of the maxi just isn't my cup...

I would probably go with the FPJ platinum split

This is clearly a case where there is no wrong choice as they are all amazing watches. The new resonance seems like an improvement on an already incredible watch and is definitely on my wishlist. But since you already have a resonance the all platinum spl...

Not just for its horology but size. I can't pull off most that are over 40mm.
