a Universal Geneve White Shadow Quartz with Cal. 74 and blue dial. The dial color has degraded over time to a nice purple hue when the light hits it the right way. Very hard to capture on camera but I'll give it a try:
If you guys are interrested I'll do a follow-up with more model-specific information and more pictures. Although still mostly unknown to a broader public and comperatively undervalued, these early UG quartz watches deserve a lot of credit for bringing quartz movements down to the slim height we are used to in todays world. I don't have any production numbers at hand but I am quite sure there can't be too many around still in perfect working condition. This one seemed to be unselvageable due to worn gears, leaked battery and no available spare parts but a microelectronics specialist and fellow watch collector proved otherwise.
