Elsewhere here last week I showed a parian-ware small statue of a lady looking at a watch and standing beside a sundial. This is a 19th century unsigned sculpture, which carries an undated exhibition mark.
Now I also show a closer look at her hand and the tiny (2 to 3 mm) sculptured watch she views - time is 14:30! Even the watch's bow has been sculptured. There is still some dirt from a restoration of the statue about 20 years ago.
Best, Clive
As shown last week
