Nothing more than a casual observation on my part.

I took a few minutes away from the task in front of me this morning and looked at a few watches online. I love watches as much, or more than most people, it's my passion along with a couple of other hobbies. I have my financial limits as to what I can buy, my collection consists of mainly Rolex, Bell & Ross, TAG and several various nice vintage pieces . I saw a few pieces this morning by independent watch makers.
A Vianney Halter piece for $685k, a Thomas Prescher piece for $405k, a Gronefeld piece for $95k. Yes, these are out (way out) of my price range but I can see how people with the means can justify them. Are there some watches out of my price range that I would like to have, yes there certainly are. With one still in college I think you know where my money goes, and it's not towards watches. Good thing dreaming and wishing are free.
If one has the means to pick up one of the above mentioned pieces, and/or others, I say go for it. Personally, I am never shocked when someone reveals the price they paid for a watch as I can see how they can justify them.
