No surprises
Well done for AP sweeping up three prizes...but surely there must be a lot of lobbying and jockeying going on in the background ahead of the awards ceremonies.
Not saying this is the IOC or FIFA, but I wouldn’t be surprised if brands and their agents didn’t try their best to influence outcomes and choices. Where money and prestige are at stake, people go to extraordinary lengths to get what they want. Would be great to be a fly on the wall when these committees deliberate.
