Horological Meandering

No misery here.

My wife has her own collection. Occasionally she decides to get into mine, but so far that has had primarily the effect of justifying purchases I probably never should have made. For example, she has made one of my vintage Rolexes pretty much her daily wearer. She's a bit rough on it, but that's no problem as it is a Rolex. I'm somewhat grateful, as I wasn't wearing it but didn't want to dispose of it. Similarly, she has taken control of my Chinese skeletonized tourbillon, which I bought for study purposes and never intended to wear, so she has made the watch more useful than it would have been otherwise.
