The Cartier Singapore do not do overseas shipping. Even if they do, once the watch pass the custom, I will have to pay 28% tax, which is nearly 1/3 of the watch price, its just make no sense. That is why I always fly to Singapore to get watches that are not available here.
I already have dress watch (louis cartier), sporty-dress (Reverso and Globemaster two-tone). My tool watches are IWC pilot 3706 and Seamaster 300 white dial. I have tried many panerais, and my wrist really can't handle more than 40mm. Panerai has the Luminor Due, but the all-polished case, low 30 mtr WR, and a snap-on caseback (really, Panerai??), are dealbreakers for me.
I think I will hold on to the Santos, at least until October. Cartier's policy give me maximum 6 months after deposit to collect the watch. If exceed, the order automatically cancelled and I will get refund.
Many thanks again for all your opinion and suggestions.
