Horological Meandering

My 2 cents.....

I was like you when I got to 3 or 4 watches (all automatic).  I thought I   needed a watch winder to keep the watches on time.  However after much reading online and careful thought I decided tht it was not really necessary unless you are talking about a perpetual or other complicated astronoimcal watches tht are very fiddly to set.......

There is no winner in the "Should I get a winder or not" debate. But:
1) I actually like to wind the watch and set it when I want to wear it
2) I wind them all every 2 weeks or so.... like taking the car out for a spin!
3) I do subscribe to the line of thought that there will be less weaer and tear if the watch is not active 24/7........ but i still watch oils/lubricants to be active so i wind every 2 weeks

I still have not bought a winder...... I now have 9 (yes NINE) watches!

Just my thoughts......

Your Answers:
Orbita and Scatola seem to be very popular brands......and can have individual winders set as you want it,.....
