...and the dial is interesting, although I don't think it is guilloche. Hopefully the movement will clean up well and you'll have a keeper. I like it : )

You are probably correct considering what guilloche looks like on a Shapiro or Breguet (and the resultant prices). But I like it too and I'll get more than my moneys worth in enjoyment.

I've also read through most of the threads that come up when I search "Angelus" on this site. Although most of the posts are either regarding newer Angelus watches or the obviously more desirable vintage chronographs, it still provides interesting reading...
