It looks like LV has acquired the brand and is producing a reworked tourbillon model?
The small watchmaking group they have seems to be handling production.
I’m curious to see what happens. Seems like a better direction than what Bvlgari was doing to the brand…

Correct, the LV group brought the DR brand back to life.
The older Tourbillon is def one of my favorite from DR however i hoped they would give us a more exiting new watch , this is a bit to much of the same imho. But still a beautiful watch tbh

It's classic and I guess a nice way to reboot, but like you said, kind of boring when there are already so many roth TBs floating around for less.
