just the 'devil's advocate' in me.. I think Rolex is much bolder than the 'others'

when most brands 'postpone' the new collection of 2020, Rolex just drops across its new models - in a year like this, it is commendable !
of course they never did what the fans wanted but let us see the last few i think are cool + utilitarian features from the Crown...
- GMT Master II Meteorite - not launched, just came into their website 'one' fine morning !
- Airking - the quirky dial, no one thought it is coming from Rolex !
- GMT Pepsi Jubilee - while every other 'influencers' bet on 'Coke', Rolex switched to Movement upgrade + Jubilee !
- OP 39 - White & Black dial, I personally think it is very under-rated + understated Rolex of recent times !
Rolex did came out with the dress watch line with Cellini, ok we didn't like it - but they did.
I don't want to compare any brands...but most are keeping the 'same' movement & just dial upgrades even on LE - no ?! (of course few exceptions from Indies, but hard to say this about any brand).
just putting on a quirky dial like in Airking or GMT Meteorite, for a conservative brand like Rolex - i think is a Big deal.
Best,
mahesh.,

Sad but true. I donβt mind that the Rolex tweaks are so minor. That is in the essence of the brand like Porsche or Leica ect. What I do mind, is that they just made the watches slightly worse that before and that they already where headed in the wrong dir...
