It's hip to be square !
Please let me share some pictures of the Nomos Tetra "175 years of Glashütte watchmaking" with its vibrant red dial.
This is a limited series of 175 watches (per dial variant) celebrating the watchmaking in Glashütte.
Amongst the various dial variants the red is the boldest ...and IMO also the most attractive and unique looking.
A lacquered dial that changes quite dramatically with light intensity : from "Ferrari" red to almost burgundy !
A true square case in the traditional minimalistic Nomos design.
Where else would you see such a fine movement at this price point?
The watch comes in a case dimension of 33x33 mm. This is however completely misleading as it looks and behaves on the wrist more like a 39-40 mm round watch.
Proof can be seen on my 17 cm wrist.
And finally a word on Nomos which I like so much : here we have a brand with honest watchmaking , no marketing bla-bla , no "famous" brand ambassadors , no Instagram posers,....
They do concentrate on the product, a coherent design language and true horological value at fair prices : almost forgotten values in today's watch environment!!
